Sunshine and Pins!

So its  almost 80 here in upstate NY, and I have no stroller to go for a walk with MR. J.

Another day I guess. It should be like this the entire week.
I, on the other hand, have spent lots and lots of time prepping for the move!!! YAY!

But alas, it is Tuesday again!

So here goes for today. . .

Im starting with all things I plan on having somewhere in my new house!!

I came across this little list,
I plan on printing it and hanging it inside a cupboard.
Good to know!

Making your own grocery lists!

Pallets!
Who doesn't love pallets!?

Planters!
For when I restart my mini garden,
you know some place with sun :-)

I may hang this in the kitchen,
just because. haha

Then last but not least,
another adorable outfit.

Until next time

The City of LOOOOVE

Tom and I went to Philadelphia this past weekend to visit a friend of mine. This was by far my favorite trip to philly ever! I have been several times, but usually after a day I am ready to go back to Rochester, which is usually a bad sign. Going with Tom was a completely different experience. My friend had to work pretty much the entire time so we had two breakfasts with him, and visited him at work Saturday night, but other than that we were pretty much on our own.

We took the subway to 30th and Market and WALKED all the way back to Girard, well beyond 2nd st, with a few detours in between.

This map shows most of what we did!

KEY

1. My friend John's house, which is where we stayed for the weekend. It was very very cold in there. lol

2. The subway station at 30th and Market, where we got off and started our trek

During the beginning of our walk I stumbled across this:

Nom Nom Ramen
Yes please?

3. Barnes and Noble in Center City. Tom left for Florida yesterday and needed some reading material.

4. Holts Cigar Company

This is the STORE SIZED walk-in humidor.
This place was soooo big.
The front area was a store for smoking accessories,
then the humidor,
then a lounge.

Then we walked down Avenue of the Arts which was nice. Cool stuff to see.

5. We walked this really ghetto mall and did some people watching. I bought Tom a shirt that says "I <3 Bacon" (but not the word bacon, a picture of bacon strips) At Old Navy.

6. We walked over 2 miles round trip from Market st. to Geno's Steaks

This was my first ever authentic cheese steak.
And probably my 6th trip to philly.
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!
It was wonderful.

7. When we walked back up I took Tom into the building where the Liberty Bell is and instead of going anywhere near the Liberty Bell we read a few plaques and Tom decided he wanted to go see the Statue of the Unknown Soldier. So we went there, and when walking into the park there was a couple doing their wedding photo's which was pretty. She had the most beautiful wedding dress I have EVER seen. It was so gorgeous.

8. Then we walked the SEVERAL MILES, back to John's house where we took naps :-D

9. Upon waking, and being SOOO Hungry we went to Triumph Brewing Company to see John at work, drink a few beers, and have some pizza and wings. We had a Prosciutto pizza which had arugula and onions on it, and some buffalo wings. MMMMMm tasty. . . I went there a few weeks ago on my trip back home from Florida and had these amazing pretzels, but they were all out :-( I was sooo dissapointed.

It was my best trip to Philly yet and I loved it!

I really want to go to Texas on one of my future trips. If we have the money this summer we are going to somewhere near Cleveland in August, and supposedly Vegas in September but I doubt it. Money is deff. going to be tight for a little while.

SO EXCITED TO MOVE!

Oh another day has come and gone

So it is most definitely tuesday again already. Which is ok with me because we all know what that means. . .

Another week closer to moving, haha
oh and

St this saturday is

St. Patricks Day

I felt it only fitting tho theme my pin post as such.

The first two are crafts I did with the kids last friday on their half day from school.

I searched pinterest for 2 weeks for crafts to do that day,
these kids need to be occupied all hours,
so much chaotic energy.

well this is what we did;

And this is how they came out;

good times!!
The kids had fun,
I kept my sanity.
All was well.

I need to figure out what kinds of fun treats Im going to make for St. Patricks day!!

XOXO

Is it really Tuesday already?

I swear each week goes faster and faster than the one before it.

Essentially that should be a good thing because that means I will be moving!!
But I have not gotten very much packing done,
We have not found a place to live yet,
I NEED more money, :-(
I have not found a job.

Oh and the list continues. . .

Suckyness.

BUT. ..

On a lighter note. . .

It Is

I went with a theme today

This would not be complete without something for the beach
Too bad its like $120.
For reals.
For a beach cover up

These 3 outfits are why I need to tone my legs back up.
UGH it was sooo much work the first time.
Who lets themselves gain so much weight?
Fail on my part

Clearly I love the long sleeves with shorts look.
I think all of these are adorable

This outfit I plan to recreate on one of our semi warm days this week.
Wednesday and Thursday are supposed to be around 60!! WOOT

And this is what I leave you with for today.

OUR BIG MOVE!

So I keep talking about our move, without actually giving very much detail into it. Well here goes.

Starting April 1st, 2012
Thomas and I will no longer be residents of Rochester, NY
We will be Florida transplants!

We have not quite picked a place to live yet, which yes is cutting it rather close, but we are looking in Melbourne and Palm Bay!!

I have been trying to get a hold of some rental homes, but it has proved to be quite a challenge.

I also spent the week of Feb 20-24 in the area, oh and visited the grandparents down in Pompano Beach, but I have lots of vacation pictures!!

So I started this entry on Friday i do believe. It is now Monday and I am finishing it. How sad is that.
This has however, given me the opportunity to learn how to transfer data from my phone to my computer via blue tooth. Apparently transferring 70 pictures takes a little while though. haha.
25 down!

My day started nice and clear
as I left NY and entered PA

Then as I was soon to leave WV,
I run into some snow.
It continued until I got to SC

But the next morning
GA was very welcoming

I had breakfast in Jacksonville,
then continued onto Melbourne.
While in Melbourne for the afternoon I checked out 6 apartments,
which we quickly narrowed down to 2 because they have garages.
Never separate a boy from him toys lol.

When I finished with apartments,
I continued on down to Pompano Beach to see my grandparents.
These are night views from their condo.

And the morning views

The grandparents dragged me to Fort Lauderdale the next day.
As if I was going to object or something.

Then we stuffed our faces that night

Pepperoni, home made meatballs, and sausage.
YUM

Oh and all of this too.

Some more of the beach in Pompano.
I ran it, oh boy was it tough.
Kicked my butt.

I dragged my grandparents to Ron Jon in Sunrise AKA the Fort Lauderdale store.

we saw this suite audi

I got to rock my new outfit for 2 interviews!

Then I went up to Orlando for a night,
and ate more bad food!

But not to worry, I totally got my Chick-fil-a on the way home!

It was too short buts still a long and eventful trip.

CANT WAIT TO MOVE!!

!!!26 DAYS!!!
