Valentines Day

Ok So valentines day went rather smoothly if I do say so. Thomas was quite entertained. He hates Valentines day, wants absolutely nothing to do with it. But he sucked it up this year because I wanted him to. The week before I had to make a very adult decision, you know the one between buying my boyfriend and I nerf guns and bullets, or buying a laminator. I chose the Nerf Guns. I left one outside the door for Tom when he got home, and then when he pulled in I went and hid.

Complete success.

He got a good kick out of running around the house with Nerf Guns. As did I. The cat on the other hand, was not impressed.

Then came the foooood.

I don't eat seafood.
But I made Tom some that night.

First I started with Scallops with Bacon from Martha Stewart herself

Then I steamed some crab legs, which I do not have a picture of. Well other than these. . .

 

ahahahah

And to finish it all off

 

Steak and potatoes. MMM

The best part?

My present. . .haha

Tom even wrapped it himself

It was new paintbrushes and paints.

Which makes me soooo excited!

 

Well thats all I have for Valentines day!

AAAHHHHH

So I obviously did not post last week. . . .

ITS BECAUSE I WAS IN FLORIDA!!

I went Apartment hunting,
hung out with my crazy grandparents,
went on a job search,
had dinner with a friend,
didn't get to see Mary :-( 

And enjoyed my brief amount of time in a place with warm weather and sunshine.

I didn't even do any pinning!!!

But don't worry I made up for it since being home haha.

So in this post I will bring you

I am sticking with the beach theme in honor of my move to sunny Florida!

These are both cute things to do for your home;

In our last house I tried to convince my friend (the owner),

that we should fill the back room with sand and lots of lights,

and pretend it was the beach.

VALETINES DAY. . . oh and PINS lol

So its VALENTINES DAY!

Thomas hates this day.
Last year we went on a cruise that left during this week so we did not do anything for Valentines day.
But this year. . . . .
WE ARE MOVING!!
So I guess its a good excuse for not being able to afford the cruise.

YES EVERYONE!!
WE ARE IN FACT MOVING!!

On Sunday I leave for a week, to go to Florida, AND APARTMENT AND JOB HUNT!!

We picked Melbourne, Tom applied for the fire academy, and he got his acceptance verification, AND NOW ARE OFF!

Projected move date=APRIL 1!!!

If you cannot tell I am super excited,
other than that whole looking for a job part.

After my vacation I will be posting pictures and TONS more information about moving!

BUUUTTTTT enough about that today, after all it is. . . .

Terrific Pins Tuesday!!

So once again another week has come and gone right under our noses. I have so much to blog about and I still have NOT DONE IT! I promise to post a little bit this week, I really do.

But on the plus side. . . .

So in lieu of my official MOVE! YES OFFICIAL MOVE! (est. April 1, 2012 possibly sooner :-D) There will be a theme for this post. . .The beach. . . Again lol

Oh and I am posting more than my usual 5. . .
mainly because I chose 5, and then I found 2 more in the folder that I decided I wanted to post.
